We are Seattle’s most awesome dog (& human) park!

The Dog Yard Bar is a park, bar, and hang-out spot, all rolled into one. Parents enjoy adult beverages while pups socialize and romp off-leash in a safe and fun environment!

All breeds are welcome.

The Experience

WE LOVE DOGS! Really, we live and breathe all things dog, and we know you do too. And it’s safe to say dog people are the best people, so we’re a match made in heaven!

The Yard They Deserve

Our off-leash park features a large 2800 square feet turf zone, boulders, tunnels, tires and more. No stone was left unturned when it came to fun!
If it’s hot out, we have misters and water features to splash in. When it’s cold, we turn on the radiant-heated floors inside and start up our outdoor heaters. Your dog will be as cool or toasty as they like (and you too!).

Hot n’ Cold

Your dog won’t get muddy at all. Our floors are made of concrete and turf. And if they get wet, because let’s face it, dogs love water, we provide towels to dry them off before they leave!

We keep our space safe by vetting that each pup is up to date with shots and vaccinations and making sure they play well with others.
We thoughtfully curate our events and breed meet-ups to keep things exciting for you and your pup and foster our community. There will always be something to look forward to, like our last Halloween event.

Bring Your Own (Friend)

All 21+ humans - pets or no pets - are welcome and get in for free. Who wouldn’t want to spend a few hours with a bunch of dogs and friends? Or you can make friends here as well!

Food for Your Mood

Our bar is stocked with local beer, wine, seltzer, hard kombucha, and alcohol-free options, along with tempting treats like pizza, and soft pretzels. You’ll keep coming back for more!

    “This place is unreal! Such a cool spot for dinner and drinks with your pup in tow - the foam machine and live music today was a MASSIVE plus, too! Staff is great and the drink selections were awesome. I grabbed some Moon Berries by Schilling Cider and had some tasty cheese sticks!”

    “I had been wanting to go to dog yard bar for a while now, and was finally able to take my pup there today. It’s a lovely outdoor space with room for both dogs and people. Service is good, with people onsite in the yard and a self service protocol for cleaning up after dogs. My dog had a blast playing with other dogs as most seem younger (he is ten months old) so they were all on the same wavelength. I’ll be back again soon! :)”

    “Such a great idea. Dogs get to run free while owners or dog lovers get to have a drink! Well maintained. Outdoor and indoor bar. Cleaning supplies are readily available. They pulled out a small pool for the dogs too.”

We had ten friends come and all of them were over the top impressed with the party they set up for us. Pizzas, cannolis, good beer, with a lovely atmosphere. Outdoors, safe, warm. Hoping our unbelievable girl makes it for another party next year. Ballard’s gem of a place.“
